Future Plans
Our summer 2010 goal is to finish the three golf holes to the east of Apple Springs Boulevard to swap out three existing holes at Boulder Canyon Country Club. Play on the revised front 9 holes is expected by summer 2011. The crews will also be transforming the lake area to a beautiful park setting...much of this work has already started and is in progress...come check out the changes. Recently, geese and ducks have been spotted enjoying their new watering hole.
A future clubhouse is the next task we hope to accomplish. Economic realities have slowed the timeline for completion, but we are still working to obtain capital for a new building which will house a new clubhouse, office space, meeting/conference space, a small fitness center and pool. These amenities will be available to homeowners and their guests at Apple Springs Resort. Completion of this building will enable us to offer a fuller-scale of services to guests hosting weddings, corporate events and other gatherings.
Other future plans include:
• restoration of the old school house near the original Wildberger farmhouse to house a historic educational center,
• building of a multi-purpose barn in the Meadows area to host events, and
• outdoor site and small chapel for a picturesque Black Hill weddings.
